OPEN ROLES ‣

  • Location : Remote

    An artist should be able to comfortably execute effects consistently within a production environment that adheres to technical constraints of a project.

    Responsibilities

    • Author real-time effects and assets for characters, environments and cinematics

    • Create compelling visual effects that fit within project technical requirements

    • Understand artistic and creative direction

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • A positive team player that’s proactive, self motivated and curious about problem solving

    • Detail oriented, organized and uses effective time management skills

    Qualifications

    • 1 + years experience using real-time engines such as Unreal, Unity and or other proprietary engines

    • Understanding of animation, colour and design principles for effects

    • Experience with software packages such as but not limited to, Houdini, Embergen, Photoshop, Blender, Max, Maya…

    • Shipped title/s and or proven industry experience within a production setting

  • Location : Remote

    A senior artist should be able to estimate and execute primary key effects within the technical constraints of a project. They are proactive, can communicate ideas, concepts and problems effectively in a broader production environment to solve development goals in a timely manner. Mentor and share knowledge with junior staff.

    • Understand artistic and creative direction

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • A positive team player that’s proactive, self motivated and curious about problem solving

    Qualifications

    • 4+ years experience using real-time engines such as Unreal, Unity and or other proprietary engines

    • Experience solving complex problems within a production environment.

    • Understanding of animation, colour and design principles for effects

    • Experience with software packages such as but not limited to, Houdini, Embergen, Photoshop, Blender, Max, Maya…

    • Shipped title/s and or proven industry experience within production setting

    • Experience mentoring junior artist/s

    A principal / lead artist should have a strong awareness of project targets, dependencies, execution and contextually how it relates to production planning. This knowledge should be reflected in their practical execution of the work and underlined in their ability to communicate complex systems and or ideas. They should feel comfortable providing guidance and mentoring to multiple junior artists at any given time.

    Responsibilities

    • Author real-time effects and assets for characters, environments and cinematics

    • Create compelling visual effects that fit within project technical requirements

    • Understand artistic and creative direction

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • A positive team player that’s self motivated and curious about problem solving

    • Detail oriented, organized and uses effective time management skills

    Qualifications

    • 6+ years experience using real-time engines such as Unreal, Unity and or other proprietary engines

    • Experience forecasting dependencies, technical challenges and solving complex problems within a production environment.

    • Understanding of animation, colour and design principles for effects

    • Experience with software packages such as but not limited to, Houdini, Embergen, Photoshop, Blender, Max, Maya…

    • Shipped title/s and or proven industry experience within a production setting

    • Experience with leading teams, production planning and mentoring junior staff
