FLINTLOCK - THE SIEGE OF DAWN | A44
FX-Chamber embedded themselves within the A44 team to help iterate on core gameplay effects, cinematics and deliverables for the project. We iterated within the team, refactored, polished and optimized effects for final release of the game.
The Door to the Afterlife has been opened, allowing the old God’s army of the undead to escape from within. The living are on the brink of extinction. It’s time for the coalition army to retake their world. Embrace vengeance, gunpowder and magic and embark on an epic journey to lead mankind’s final siege against the tide of the dead.
Working with FX-Chamber has been an outstanding co-dev experience. Their artist joined our team seamlessly, demonstrating solid communication and a great understanding of our production needs and limitations.
Their expertise has been a key support for us in reaching the most efficient workflow. They also brought in deep technical skills coupled with a strong artistic eye. With minimal guidance, they were able to pick up the visual identity of our project and create VFX that fitted the Art Direction, Design Direction and technical requirements perfectly.
They also possess an outstanding ability to troubleshoot and find alternative solutions on the fly. They consistently and reliably delivered on their tasks, while exhibiting excellent work ethic and professional practice. This all contributed to a high velocity and qualitative output during the delivery phase of our game.
